Code of Conduct

We, the community of epicenter.works treat each other with respect and assume good intentions (bonafide). Our work is independent of and equidistant from all political parties, ideologies and corporate interests. We work on fundamental rights and are therefore committed to all people, especially those on the margins of society. We work exclusively on the basis of facts, within the rule of law and are always solution-oriented.

To uphold these principles, we set ourselves these house rules for our virtual and physical exchange platforms. This includes email lists, physical meetings and actions. We don’t tolerate any form of bullying, harassment, racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism or any other form of discrimination. Email lists are not intended for individual advice on data protection issues or other matters.

Anyone who violates these rules will be warned and excluded from the association’s community channels after the third warning. Warnings and exclusions must be justified. The person concerned can file an objection to the exclusion, which will be finally decided by the association's office within one month.
