Governance
For the first five years, epicenter.works was run solely by volunteers. To this day, this voluntary involvement is very important to us. In the longer term, many of the volunteers become full members of the association, who elect the board and form the association’s democratic corrective.
The elected board in turn appoints and controls the management, which manages the association’s employees. This is where the close cooperation between employees and volunteers comes full circle.
