Open Letter on the Digital Green Certificate (EU Covid-19 certificate) to the European Parliament

We initiatied this open letter on the EU legislative proposal for a Digital Green Certificate that certifies the Covid-19 status of people in the Europena Union. 28 NGOs are supporting this letter, including organisations like Liberties.eu (co-drafters), EDRi, Access Now and Privacy International. We ask for important privacy safeguards and raise the issue of non-discrimination and inclusiveness of this new system.
