[Cape Town] Global DPI Summit 2025 - Beyond Implementors: Building Capacity for DPI governance across the ecosystem

At this very moment, Digital Public Infrastructure is being actively deployed across the globe. Alongside governments, there is a public-interest ecosystem of stakeholders: CSOs, the media, and legal stakeholders, who play a critical role in shaping its design and deployment. Yet, their pathways to engage with the DPI design process are riddled with capacity constraints and a missing enabling environment that engages with their contributions. This session dives into the public interest actor ecosystem: who they are, what their capacities are to support effective DPI governance, and which resources they can leverage to help shape national DPI stories. It will also showcase the launch of the platform for DPI governance resources.
